Holy ****, the WWE has a tag division!

So,

I got suckered right back into WWE after suffering a little ROH burnout and I have to admit Im enjoying it. It's good background music fluff tv and everynow and then I sit up and pay attention.

The Paul London/ Brian Kendrick run with belts on Smackdown was awesome, Im even into Deuce and Domino and the chase London and Kendrick are going to have on their hands to become two time, two time, two time WWE Tag Champs. To see a well booked tag feud on WWE TV shocked the hell out of me, but this is it. They've actually had some pretty good (for WWE) matches out there as well and the way they lost the belts was genuinely different.

Imagine my double suprise when I started to watch Backlash last night and saw another good Tag Title match. Hardys vs Cade and Murdoch was good solid stuff. I'm a mark for Murdoch, especially after he added the Canadian Destroyer to his repetoire, suck on that Petey Williams. I kinda wanted them to win, because the Hardy's are just going through motions really.

I want them to put the titles on Cade and Murdoch, build them up as unbeatable heel tag champs, have them pound the crap out of some fan favourites, cheat when necessay, but remain completely indominatable until ultimately they clash with a newly recrowned London and Spanky (next years mania?) to unify the titles.

Pie in the sky I know, maybe that's my next fantasy booking actually ...

I watch the PPVs but's that about it.

I started watching the UK raw from the other week and that seemed quite good.

WWE is pure quality just for the soap opera storylines.

Hahahaha, that was the one with Jose Morinho on. Soooo funny. Although they punked Robbie Brookside out totally. Shane made him look like he couldn't wrestle for ****, it seemed a little disrespectful to me, but that might be just me.

The Cena/ Micheals 50 minuter was jaw dropping. Not that it was the best wrestling match in the world ever or anything, but just that those two guys could do that IN THE UK, where notoriously the WWE holds back a little.

I think they're pushing work rate a little more than they used to (I guess they go through phases), probably why Im digging it a little more. Im a workrate mark.

I haven't watched any in 3 years, I doubt I'd recognise anybody these days. Sad

So against all odds, a few months later the WWE now has two freaking tag divisions. I'm going to lay the praise at Arn Andersons feet, who I'm reliably informed is booking the tag division on RAW where Spanky and London are currently chasing Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade (a team I would have bet you a million **** pounds I would never like, all credit to them for making the recquired effort to impress me - I know that's why they did it), and the highly entertaining Matt Hardy and MVP dynamic over on Smackdown (dude, MVP can do no wrong in my eyes ... what can I say, he's BALLLLLIIIIINNNNNN').
