Kieron Gillen, Doug Braithwaite & Antony Johnston signing in Newcastle
Some big Marvel comics names signing at TM Newcastle on Feb 4th 2012:
KIERON GILLEN: Writer of the finest mutant titles going (UNCANNY X-MEN, GENERATION HOPE) and the critically acclaimed JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY, Kieron has also written a host of excellent comics over the years including the incredible paean to pop music PHONOGRAM.
DOUG BRAITHWAITE: Superb artist who has recently illustrated the adventures of the young Loki, Trickster God with Kieron in JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY, Doug also pencilled the fantastic JUSTICE for DC comics. He's also drawn two of Marvel's biggest badasses PUNISHER and WOLVERINE.
ANTONY JOHNSTON has been writing various DAREDEVIL and SPIDER-MAN comics recently, and was one of the architects of the incredible SHADOWLAND crossover. His magnum opus WASTELAND comic is relaunching with a jumping on point really soon and he's the writer of the upcoming DAREDEVIL SEASON ONE HC. Outside of comics, he scripted the terrifying DEAD SPACE video games too!
